  • Overview

    The Crew Records Clerk enters and tracks data of training records to ensure compliance of flight crew and dispatch records.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare training folders for new hire classes.
    • Perform data entry of flight crew and dispatch training records into the electronic tracking system.
    • Conduct audits pertaining to data entry of training records.
    • Maintain a high level of knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), crewmember contracts, training manuals, and Company policies.
    • Correspond with Flight Operations, Flight Operations Training, In-flight, and Crew Scheduling the status of recurrent training, medical certificates, temporary certificates, and passports with advance notification.
    • Responsible for releasing pilots to Initial Operating Experience (IOE) and Line status once qualified.
    • Process all Pilot Records Improvement Act (PRIA) requests.
    • Collect and maintain all training records for Pilots, Flight Attendants, and Dispatchers.
    • Computer work, in a typical office environment, sitting for the majority of the day.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
    • Experience with CrewQual and CrewTrac preferred
    • 1 year of experience in data entry or clerical role
    • 1 year of aviation or airline experience preferred
    • PC proficient in Microsoft Office products and general internet applications
    • Reliable, and self-motivated with a positive attitude
    • Ability to multi task efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
    • Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work additional hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
    • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
    • Repetitive motion such as typing and phone work.
    • Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
