    The Payroll Coordinator processes bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for hourly, salaried and crew employees.


    • Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for employees accurately and efficiently.
    • Ensure employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorization and ensuring corporate policies are in accordance to federal, state, and local tax codes.
    • Research and resolve payroll inquiries.
    • Partner with various internal departments to ensure responsive resolution of employee payroll issues and inquiries.
    • Responsible for processing levies and garnishments.
    • Process off-cycle check.
    • Prepare reports and analysis using ADP Report Smith program.
    • Maintain payroll department files.
    • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information.
    • Computer work, in a typical office environment, subject to critical deadlines. Can involve long periods of sitting.
    • Other job duties as assigned.


    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
    • 2 years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment preferred
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
    • Reliable and self-motivated with a positive attitude
    • Analytical, interpretive and organizational skills
    • Ability to multi task efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
    • Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with Union Contracts preferred
    • Knowledge of federal, state and local payroll laws and regulations, preferred
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work additional hours including evening, weekends and holidays as needed
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to identify priorities
    • Position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, etc. not in excess of 30 lbs.
