Overview

The Quality Assurance Heavy Check Representative represents Endeavor Air for quality assurance with the heavy check vendor at contract facilities, ensuring that Endeavor Air policies and procedures are followed relative to maintenance, safety and reliability of our aircraft.  

Responsibilities

  • Reports to Manager, Quality Assurance Representatives.
  • Fosters a positive working relationship with vendor personnel while conveying Endeavor Air expectations for the highest standards of safety, workmanship, quality, and program execution to plan.
  • Ensures compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. Provides surveillance on all aspects of the heavy check process including inventory, shipping, paperwork, data entry, records transfer, component repair, and warranty, training and engineering liaison ensuring Endeavor Air processes and procedures are followed.
  • Performs in-process, verification and acceptance check surveillances.
  • Ensure appropriately trained personnel are assigned to tasks and have received proper training for accomplished work requiring specialized tooling. 
  • Audits forms for completeness and proper corrective actions prior to release of the aircraft from maintenance visit.
  • Be familiar with the Airworthiness agreement and the heavy check vendor manual system relating to paperwork and processes that pertain to Endeavor Air. 
  • Identify potential unsatisfactory procedures or processes.
  • Promptly contacts the Endeavor Manager, Quality Assurance and the Chief Inspector at the contract facility to address problems identified during the surveillance of work in progress or any other concern or policy non-compliance that may need addressing at the site.
  • Data entry required for Logbook and Non-Routines into the aircraft maintenance computer system. Perform parts receiving inspection as required.
  • Must possess the ability to communicate clearly in speech and writing.
  • Must be able to use personal computers for both word-processing and data input functions.
  • Must be able to use ladders, work stands, lifts, etc. and be able to work on all areas of the aircraft that may require access during performance of duties.
  • Requires professional contact with business relationships and FAA.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent, or any combination of education and experience, which enables one to perform the job functions.
  • Must hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant license.
  • Knowledge of or ability to understand contracts and operate within contract guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and fluent in the English language.

USD $64,552.46/Yr.

Maximum Position Pay Range

USD $93,000.00/Yr.
