Overview

The Human Resources Information Systems Intern position at Endeavor Air will integrate knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skills development in a professional workplace.  The Intern will have hands-on opportunities to dive into HR systems (Dayforce and iCIMS), data integrity, reporting and analysis, and HR process optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintenance of employee records within Dayforce.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of HR data through regular audits and validations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on system configuration and processes.
  • Generate reports and metrics for HR and Endeavor.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS team to streamline and improve data management and reporting processes.
  • Triage and respond to system questions from Endeavor Leaders and employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics or Information Technology or closely related degree program, with Junior or Senior class standing.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business environment.
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Office Suite skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas
  • Effective organizational, time management, & multi-tasking skills.
  • Prior data / analytics / statistics experience preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Ability to work full time (32-40 hours/week) during weekdays, with some schedule flexibility, if needed.
  • Ability to work and be based in Minneapolis, MN; no relocation assistance will be provided.
  • Computer work, in a typical office environment sitting for the majority of the day.
  • Repetitive motion such as typing.
  • Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
  • Travel as necessary.
