Overview

The Manager of Crew Resources provides system administration, analysis, and support to the Crew Resources division. The Manager of Crew Resources manages the Crew Pay team to ensure Crewmembers are being paid in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with the Pilot and Flight Attendant Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA). The Manager is a liaison with Crewmember unions and other Endeavor work groups and ensures crew member work rules fulfill contractual obligations and maximize workflow efficiency. 

Responsibilities

  • Support the Crew Resources team with data-driven results of crew member operational and financial metrics to support Company goals.
  • Create executive reports summarizing key performance metrics related to crew members, automating processes and data mining queries where applicable for data extraction, report processing, comprehensive analysis, and distribution to senior leadership team.
  • Serve as a resource to pilots, flight attendants, Flight Ops/Inflight leadership, Training, and HR, in contractual and procedural matters concerning Crew Resources.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and/or ad hoc reports for senior leadership team.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and expand the operational use of Rainmaker Business Intelligence to relevant areas of the company. Participate in valuing crew contract negotiations as required.
  • Coordinate with other internal management teams to ensure consistent practices, coding, and procedures are in place among Crew Resources staff. Align with Flight Operations and Inflight to ensure coding and procedures are in place to support the union contracts, Company, and departmental policies.
  • Assist Crew Planning and Crew Scheduling with programming changes driven by LOAs.
  • Assist in crew contract administration regarding Crew Pay and Crew Scheduling technical issues.
  • Work directly with Labor Relations to resolve crewmember issues, grievances, and investigations
  • Manage the Crew Pay team and automated crew pay system
  • Establish career paths for staff development, provide on-the-job training
  • Provide guidance and work direction to staff, set expectations, and manage the complete of work assignments
  • Manage employee performance, provide feedback, create performance evaluations, administer discipline, and participate in employee investigations and terminations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Will provide supervision and daily guidance for the Crew Pay Analysts and Crew Pay Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, finance, IT, or business, or a combination of education and related experience
  • 4 years of experience in using business intelligence programs, analytics, or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience preferred providing work direction in a leadership/supervisory role, including motivating, mentoring, and building positive relationships with employees.
  • Knowledge of airline operations and collective bargaining agreements
  • Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and able to work with all levels of an organization
  • PC proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Rainmaker Business Intelligence preferred

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Computer work in a typical office environment; sitting for the majority of the day.
  • Teleworking possible, although majority of work to be performed in office.
  • Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
  • Able to work additional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Up to 5% travel

Minimum Position Pay Range

USD $75,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Position Pay Range

USD $105,000.00/Yr.
