The Technical Writer is responsible for creating and revising maintenance job cards.

• Review manufacturer’s technical manual revisions and determine changes to be incorporated into Endeavor Air customized job cards in coordination with Engineering as necessary.
• Assist in publishing job card changes.
• Review and revise job cards to incorporate Endeavor Originated Content (EOC).
• Ensure quality and availability of all technical manuals used by Maintenance and Technical Services.
• Assist with other technical data, job card, and EO processing as required.

• Associates degree or a combination of education and related experience.  
• Two years of related experience; five years in an airline maintenance or technical writing environment is preferred.
• Experience in technical document publishing, web-based publishing, and technical data control in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards and Air Transport Association (ATA) Specifications 100, 2100, 2200 is strongly desired. Experience with S1000D is preferred.
• Experience working in Extensible Markup Language (XML) and experience in XML authoring software (XMetaL and Field Logs software or other similar) is strongly desired.
• Must be capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects and possess strong communication and presentation skills to work with all levels across the Division.
• Ability to draft customized work procedures.
• Strong work ethic, reliable, and self-motivated.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and organizational skills.
• PC proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel spreadsheet experience.
• Clearly and effectively communicates technical and non-technical concepts in written form to managers, peers, and other internal customers.
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Full-time exempt position.
• Repetitive motion such as: typing and data entry.
• Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
• Computer work in a typical office environment, sitting for the majority of the day.
