Overview

The Tech Ops Business Analyst position is responsible for providing analytical support in evaluating multiple projects aimed at improving the performance of Technical Operations, Endeavor’s aircraft maintenance organization. Projects include but not limit to analytics and reporting of operation and financial data.

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams in evaluating and executing projects to improve Endeavor’s fleet reliability, aircraft performance, and business processes.
  • Invoice Processing & Coding: Process vendor invoices, ensure proper coding, and support expense tracking and reconciliation.
  • Data Reporting & Visualization: Develop and maintain reports in Tableau, Excel, and Quickbase to track headcount, fleet performance, and other key operational metrics. Create automated processes where applicable for data extraction, report processing, and distribution.
  • Budgeting Support: Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial data analysis to support planning and decision-making.
  • Insurance Claims: Prepare and process insurance claim summaries related to aircraft and engine damage events, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Documentation: Draft business cases, project summaries, and action plans to secure funding, support strategic initiatives, and keep leadership informed.
  • iPad Program Management: Assist in management of Tech Ops iPad program, including iPad new-hire distribution & setup, configuration via Airwatch, troubleshooting, and monitoring iOS updates.
  • Uniform Program Assistance: Support the Tech Ops uniform program, including financial monitoring, vendor coordination, and onboarding new hires.
  • System Access Administration: Submit and track system access requests for new hires and role changes within the Maintenance division.
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting for use by senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Business financial analysis experience preferred – strong proficiency in Excel
  • Airline maintenance/operations experience preferred.
  • Advanced research and analytical skills, including familiarity with Tableau, Quickbase, or other visual analytics platforms
  • Ability to effectively to meet deadlines within given time parameters.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.
  • Interpersonal skills with focus on problem resolution required.
  • PC proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) including financial modeling experience.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Repetitive motion such as typing.
  • Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
  • Computer work, in a typical office environment sitting for the majority of the day.
  • Travel up to 10% required.
