Overview

The Supervisor, Training Scheduling is responsible for overseeing the scheduling and tracking of crew training events and instructor development.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Training and Development of new Training Schedulers
  • Directly work with new schedulers to develop their skills and ensure successful results
  • Continue to support and lead all Training Schedulers
  • Oversee the scheduling and tracking of instructor development on both the sim and ground side.
  • Build ground instructor schedules
  • Work with Flight Standards to set up LCP initial classes and recurrent events
  • Books travel and hotels in support of training events
  • Determine monthly TDY needs, develops and implements schedule for TDY instructors
  • Creates and distributes training progress and completion reports
  • Process Return to Work students
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure efficient scheduling of shared resources and facilities
  • Oversee dynamic scheduling runs, troubleshooting script issues and verifying compliance with business rules
  • Can involve long periods of sitting. Computer work, in a typical office environment, subject to frequent critical deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or a combination of education and related experience.
  • 2 years of Crew Training Scheduling experience preferred.
  • Strong TRiM training scheduling software skills including troubleshooting preferred.
  • Possess broad understanding of Dynamic Scheduling preferred.
  • Extensive experience and understanding of JCBA rules.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Proficient computer skills in the latest Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong facilitation skills.
  • Track record demonstrating ability to function independently and as a team member and consistently deliver quality outcomes.
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently as well as to effectively prioritize and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to think conceptually and strategically, while maintaining a cost-conscious and practical approach to using time and resources
  • Ability to independently research issues and make effective recommendations using critical thinking skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people.
  • Position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, etc. not in excess of 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work additional hours including evenings and weekends.

USD $65,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Position Pay Range

USD $75,000.00/Yr.
