Overview

Endeavor Air is seeking a forward‑thinking leader to serve as Director, Inflight Learning and Compliance. This role oversees the strategy, design, and execution of Flight Attendant training programs that elevate safety, service, and operational performance.

 

This position leads all curriculum development, AQP processes, and compliance initiatives while fostering strong relationships with regulatory agencies and internal partners. The Director ensures training programs meet FAA requirements, leverage modern learning technologies, and support Endeavor’s commitment to exceptional inflight performance.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a forward-thinking training strategy that supports operational goals and regulatory compliance.
  • Champion innovation in learning delivery, leveraging technology and blended learning solutions.
  • Maintain adherence to FAA regulations and company standards for all training programs.
  • Oversee AQP development and ensure accurate calibration and quality control for instructors.
  • Serve as primary contact for FAA inspectors and regulatory audits.
  • Direct instructional design and curriculum development using proven methodologies.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize training resources.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through data analysis and implement continuous improvements.
  • Lead and develop a team of managers and professional staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and growth opportunities for team members.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of +9 employees with 3 direct reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, airline operations, or related field, or equivalent related experience in a strategic planning role preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience leading people required.
  • 3+ years of experience identifying and implementing business analytics metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and AQP processes.
  • Expertise in instructional design and learning technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and influence organizational change.
  • Ability to lead tactically and strategically as required.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a union environment.
  • 10+ years in DOT or related regulated environment 
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.

Minimum Position Pay Range

USD $130,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Position Pay Range

USD $165,000.00/Yr.
