Overview

Endeavor Air is seeking a forward‑thinking leader to serve as Director, Corporate Communications. This role leads the strategy and execution of enterprise‑wide communications that build clarity, trust, and engagement while reinforcing company values and business priorities.

 

The Director serves as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leaders, oversees internal and external communications, executive messaging, digital platforms, and employee engagement initiatives, and partners closely with Delta Air Lines Communications to align messaging across shared audiences and enterprise priorities.

Responsibilities

Executive & Enterprise Communications

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the President and CEO and senior leaders on enterprise communications, messaging strategy, and organizational narratives. Prepares executive communications for distribution.
  • Ensure all communications are clear, consistent, value-based, and aligned with business strategy and culture.
  • Provide counsel on tone, timing, and delivery to maximize impact and trust.
  • Serve as the primary communications liaison with Delta’s Communications team.

Employee Communications & Engagement

  • Lead the strategy and execution of internal communications that inform, engage, and inspire employees across all locations and workgroups.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of employee sentiment and proactively recommend communication strategies to address trends, concerns, and opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Human Resources leaders, operations, and functional teams to support enterprise wide and departmental initiatives, cultural priorities, and change efforts.

Employee Listening & Survey Administration

  • In cooperation with Human Resources, lead the administration of employee surveys, assist with the facilitation of listening sessions, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Translate insights into clear themes, recommendations, and action plan communications for employees.
  • Ensure visible follow‑through and feedback loops so employees understand how their input drives action.

Digital Platforms & Content Management

  • Oversee content strategy, governance, and effectiveness of the company website and intranet.
  • Ensure platforms are current, engaging, accessible, and aligned with brand and employee needs.
  • Leverage data and analytics to continuously improve reach, engagement, and usability.

Talent Acquisition & Employment Branding

  • Develop communications and collateral that support talent acquisition, employment branding, and candidate engagement.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition leaders to ensure consistent messaging to prospective employees, universities, and community partners.

Community & External Engagement

  • Support community engagement initiatives, partnerships, and external communications aligned with company values and brand.
  • Collaborate with elected officials, industry partners, and other external stakeholders to strengthen Endeavor’s reputation as an employer of choice and trusted community partner.

Leadership, Innovation & AI Enablement

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three communications professionals, fostering collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
  • Proactively explores and leverages AI tools and emerging technologies to improve communication effectiveness, efficiency, and insight.
  • Partner with departments and senior leaders to increase communication capabilities within departments, leveraging these tools for self-service where appropriate.
  • Establish clear priorities, standards, and workflows to ensure high‑quality, timely delivery.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Lead the Corporate Communications team of three professionals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, executive communications, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated experience advising executives and senior leaders and supporting proactive enterprise‑wide communication strategies.
  • 5+ years of experience leading people required.
  • Strong experience with employee engagement, listening strategies, and digital communication platforms.
  • Excellent judgment, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Primarily office‑based with extended periods of computer work.
  • Travel will be required to support business and employee engagement activities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings or weekends as required.

Minimum Position Pay Range

USD $130,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Position Pay Range

USD $165,000.00/Yr.
